Experience what happens when people and passions collide!
Not only was John excited about the opportunity, a woman I am coaching to live her legacy and become the next up and coming standup comedian, just so happened to be a voice actor! I met Audra through a program I ran for a church in January called “The Last Sermon Project.” Although she was not a member of that particular church, she was a Toastmaster champion and knew how to tell a story. The light went off! Not only will I have John write and sing the Molly Sunshine Tour’s theme song, I will ask Audra to record the audio for “A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine.” She has the perfect voice that would resonate with children ages 5-8! Not only did she have the perfect voice, I discovered that she and her husband had the necessary recording equipment. Luckily for me, I was also friends with a local Grammy Award Winner and remixer (blog 11/16/09). Since I recorded and sang in his studio before with “Oh Legacy,” I knew exactly what he needed to remix it quickly! The universe continued to provide amazing opportunities! On March 19th, Brian, Audra’s husband, and she recorded "A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine," and I met with Mitch the next day for remixing. In two and a half hours, Mitch and I were done! Meanwhile, Jamie, the illustrator, began working on the CD cover and by Tuesday it was with Mike, of Disc Hounds, for duplication. Our CD Audio Book... produced and shipped in four days! Why the rush you may ask? I had a flight to catch to Key West on Thursday and I wanted to get the CD into the hands of a few people before I left. On March 18th I was invited by Beth Strange, an amazing image consultant and incredible mother, to a Business Clubs America event in Philadelphia. This was my second time attending one of their events, and it is always top notch! Before my arrival I knew I was going to meet and synergize with a man by the name of Ralph. Although Beth had already invited me, Ralph, who is BCA’s Senior Business Development Manager, reached out to me via e-mail to ask if I would like to attend their event. Through our email exchange I knew that there would be chemistry. What I later discovered is that we not only shared similar passions, but also he was the former founder of Radio Disney! We both understood how it’s possible “to make the impossible, possible!” We want to make a difference in the lives of children... our future leaders! He shared some great insight into how to launch the Molly Sunshine Tour and also offered his assistance in other areas as well, including helping me secure sponsorships! This is a man who understands what it is to give and make a difference in this world! At that event, I also met Emilia of Beholder Productions. Just like Ralph and I, Emilia and I connected immediately. In addition, she had an incredible journey of her own that I hope to help her tell one of these days. Because of her story and raising two girls, I can see us working together on the DVD for “A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine” and a DVD for The Molly Sunshine Tour. Who knows what else! This is another great story that you’ll have to stay tuned to see what happens! The bottom line is share your passions and you will attract those who want to make a difference just like you! Make your legacy known, inspire others, and live life to the fullest!
